North Hollywood has an amazing spirit and unique signage that represents the arts of the city. We did a replica of that sign on this book box.
This book box is 7′ tall and is a replica of the Los Angeles City Hall. We worked with the LAPD Van Nuys team to create a nook and custom built a bench for kids to sit on and read.
Building a castle book box was on our list of things we couldn’t wait to do. When LAPD Rampart asked us to make one we were excited for the opportunity. We had a little help from some girl scouts and tons of support from the team at LAPD.
Creating a police call box was so much fun. This one was installed in LAPD Newton station. Lots of books given out that day and some very happy kids!
This book box was created in 3 days after installing the Horsebarn the Captain asked if we could do one for his Open House on March 8, 2014. Our master builder moved in record time to make this happen.
This horsebarn themed box is at LAPD Foothill Station. We installed it during Read Across America week in 2014 and the Captains and kids all got into the Dr. Seuss spirit. This box won a Library of Distinction award from the international Little Free Library organization.
This is the first of 4 different book boxes we have built and installed at our headquarters in the San Fernando Valley area of California. This one is a lifeguard station.
