After the 1st two book boxes we did with San Bernardino County Probation Dept, they decided they wanted us to come out and train them on how to make The Literacy Club’s Peak Roof Indoor Book Box™ . The team created two kits along with instruction manuals. They then got to spend 4 hours with the teachers at the Building Skills Program showing them how to create the unites themselves. The teachers will now use this training to teach the detained youth within the program how to create 10 more. We also dropped off the first batch of over 4,000 new books for their Vision2Read program!
