Another Be a Book Hero™ Book Box gets a home at Uplift Family Services. This box was sponsored by the incredible people Variety – the Children’s Charity of Southern California and the theme was transformation (Caterpillar to a Butterfly). Thanks to our master builder Douglas Chadwick who created a beautiful box that is now filled with books and ready for kids. Thank you to Debi Dodge for her help and the great pictures. Thank you to the Kiwanis Literacy Club of Southern California and their members who labeled all the books. We are over 135 book boxes and over 150,000 books given away to kids.
